• We Are Redfield Energy.

We take pride in providing economic impact to the agriculture industry, community, state, and its unitholders.

Billion Gallons Produced

Redfield Energy is celebrating its 1 billionth gallon of ethanol production.  This milestone is an achievement that recognizes the efforts of employees, investors and farmers for over 18 years of work and dedication from the forming of the company until today.  Redfield Energy is proud of the high octane, low carbon fuel that we produce for consumers and the quality feed product we produce for livestock producers, locally and nationally.  We’re equally proud of the number of great jobs we provide to the community, the returns for our investors, and our role as a local market for corn growers.

Since production began in April of 2007 Redfield Energy has processed over 350 million bushels of corn delivered by truck from the surrounding area.  In that time the company has produced over 3.7 million tons of distillers grains for feed, over 220 million pounds of distillers corn oil that is used in both animal feed and as a feedstock for biodiesel and renewable diesel, and of course, 1 billion gallons of ethanol.

While the Company has been a success for the area for nearly 2 decades, we continue to try to position the company for the future of the renewable fuels industry.  We are doing this by focusing on projects and investments that increase our efficiency and lower the carbon index of the ethanol we produce.  Examples of this include membrane distillation which will reduce our natural gas usage by 1/3 and a solar field which will provide carbon free electricity to the plant.  These projects in addition to smaller projects done at the plant continue to keep us competitive in the West Coast fuel markets.  With the addition of carbon sequestration, Redfield Energy will qualify as a low carbon feedstock into the production of sustainable aviation fuel and allow for another large market opportunity.

Redfield Energy’s mission is to operate a profitable and innovative ethanol facility, be the preferred market for locally grown corn, and provide a quality feed product.  We continue to invest in our company and our people so that we can continue to be an economic engine in the area for years to come.
