Welcome to Redfield Energy

Redfield Energy, LLC is a 55 million gallon per year ethanol production facility located two miles north of Redfield, SD. RE is a South Dakota LLC comprised of 850 members who represent three unit classes. Class A equity unit holders are required to deliver corn on an annual fiscal year basis. Class B and Class C equity unit holders do not have a corn requirement.

RE, a dry mill plant, became operational in April 2007 and has the capacity to process approximately 20 million bushels of corn into ethanol per year. The plant produces approximately 162,000 tons of modified wet and dried distillers grain, which is sold to the local and west coast markets.

• 50 millionth gallon of ethanol was produced on May 5, 2008
• 75 millionth gallon of ethanol was produced on Nov. 5, 2008
• 100 millionth gallon of ethanol was produced on May 5, 2009
• 150 millionth gallon of ethanol was produced on April 29, 2010
• 200 millionth gallon of ethanol was produced on April 7, 2011
• 250 millionth gallon of ethanol was produced on March 4, 2012
• 300 millionth gallon of ethanol was produced on February 3, 2013
